Each acupuncturist is trained by British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS). One of our colleagues, Dr N Rajan is currently one of the fifteen Nationally elected Council members for British Medical Acupuncture Society in London, involved in education and training of doctors learning to practice Medical Acupuncture under BMAS. He is the only elected council member in BMAS to represent Wales.
Acupuncture is used to treat chronic back pain and chronic medical conditions. Pain relief before and after Orthopaedic surgery for back pain, Hip and Knee pain, Osteoarthritis of Hip, knee and Ankle joints to name but a few. This method can also be beneficial when dealing with Chronic intractable Migraine, Hyperemesis (excessive vomiting) in early pregnancy, post stroke facial paralysis, Hemiplegic migraine, Chronic Trigeminal Neuralgia, Post - herpetic Neuralgia and other Neuropathic pain.
Chronic sports injury with Musculoskeletal pain, Hip joint pain and Trochanteric bursitis Coccydynia, Hay fever and other allergic conditions. Dr Rajan has special interest in: Auricular (ear) acupuncture.
